The Horse Backstreet Choppers Magazine: Bam! Here they are...

Some good reading, wish I had kept more of the early issues instead of passing them on...

Ordered yesterday (and shipped the same day!). When Jordan Z. came up with a design that has Charlie Horse on a cb750 chopper, I had no choice but to order. Hands down, the Horse has been my favorite rag since issue one. Why? What other chopper magazine runs articles ranging from some 16 year old kid who built his own rat bike, to George the Painter rambling about life, to down to earth DIY tech articles that DON"T include how to swap your stock parts for HD factory approved shiny chrome skull emblazoned million dollar pieces of crap!

The Horse Backstreet Choppers Magazine: Bam! Here they are...: "Grip that shit!"

Brother Brian Jessop of Loco Bastardo blog fame. And my beard (RIP). Btw, the shirt says "cocaine blows".

Working on the girder front end. Almost four feet long :) Good progress towards the 9 foot bike I've been dreaming of...

found this frame on Kijiji, $500 and 11 hrs of driving to Deadmonton. Check out the fillet brazing/molding, and that rake! Dream 70's cb chopper, here I come!

I can't get this outta my head...

Got some polishing done while the engine is in pieces.

On to the cb 750! Had a chance last year to pick up a supposedly running cb750 for $500. Turned out to need a bit of engine work, which was no surprise for the price. I finally got started on turning it into the chopper of my dreams this year. Step one: total engine rebuild. I found a nice pile of grit on the oil pump screen, so time to go over the engine with a fine toothed comb. I was hoping not to split the cases, but as it turns out, it's fairly easy on a cb 750 anyways. Better now than mid-riding season...
